This Privacy Policy explains how Linkify.fit (“Linkify”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit Linkify.fit, request a profile, use a private editing link or interact with a Linkify profile.

1. What Linkify.fit does

Linkify.fit allows individuals, creators, professionals and businesses to request a personal profile page containing information such as a name, biography, profile photo, social links, contact details and other external links.

Linkify does not currently provide a customer login dashboard. Profile requests and editing access are handled through the available forms and private editing links.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information submitted through the creation form

2.6 Browser storage

The receiving page consumes the preview handoff after reading it. If the transfer is abandoned, the browser may retain the selected photo until the next transfer, application cleanup or deletion of site data.

Closing the browser tab normally clears session-storage fields.

2.7 Local display fonts

The Linkify interface uses browser-local font stacks and self-hosted resources. The current release does not request display fonts from Google Fonts or another external font provider.

10. Photos and user-submitted content

You are responsible for the content you submit to Linkify.

If you choose to include sensitive or private information in a public biography, image, link title or other public profile field, that information may become publicly accessible.

You are also responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use:

A Linkify profile may contain links to social networks, websites, stores, booking systems, email addresses, phone numbers or other external destinations.

Some hosting, infrastructure, email, font or other service providers may process information in countries outside the European Economic Area.

14. Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Retention may depend on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

Profile information

Published profile information may be retained while the profile is active and published.

When a profile is removed, Linkify will remove it from public display within a reasonable operational period, subject to security, backup, legal and dispute-resolution requirements.

Pending requests

Information associated with an unresolved request may be retained until the request is reviewed, completed, rejected, withdrawn or otherwise resolved.

Declined request data becomes eligible for automatic deletion once 30 days have passed. Cleanup runs when Linkify processes site requests, so deletion may occur on the next such request. An administrator may delete declined request data sooner. If a specific record needs to be retained for support follow-up, a security incident, abuse prevention, dispute resolution or a legal obligation or claim, an administrator may place it on a retention hold in the private Studio and record the applicable reason. Held records are excluded from automatic deletion and cannot be manually deleted until the hold is released. Once released, the normal retention rules apply.

Private editing credentials may be retained while the associated profile remains active or until the credential is revoked, replaced or invalidated.

Contact and support messages

Support and request communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain service history, resolve disputes, protect the service and comply with legal obligations.

Analytics

Aggregate profile and link analytics may be retained for long-term or lifetime reporting because the current system is designed to measure profiles and days rather than identify individual visitors.

Technical logs

Technical and security logs may be retained for a limited operational period based on security, troubleshooting, abuse-prevention and legal requirements.

Backups

Information removed from active systems may remain temporarily in encrypted or protected backups until those backups are rotated or securely deleted.

15. Sharing and disclosure

We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 16 for the purpose of creating a profile without an appropriate lawful basis or any authorisation required by applicable law.

Some information may need to be retained where required by law, needed to establish or defend legal claims, necessary for security or included in protected backups awaiting normal deletion.
